Hola and welcome to Pulso POP—a platform for all Latino-related entertainment and lifestyle news.

My name is Jessica Lucia Roiz, founder and editor of yours truly. After nearly a decade of working in digital media, I’ve decided it’s time to explore my two passions: writing and Latino pop culture.

And what better way than to start this website/blog? Yes, I know it’s a competitive world out there, but like my bae Selena Quintanilla once said:

So, I’m winging it with this project called PulsoPOP[dot]com.

The name derives from Pulso (Spanish for pulse) and POP (short for popular culture).

The slogan: Latino pop news in a heartbeat.

The mission is to deliver fresh and engaging entertainment/lifestyle news stories that cater to the awesome and hip Hispanic-American millennial generation. This is also a platform for emerging new talents, hit me up with your pitch!
