Tony Dize unleashes promising new album | VIDEO
It took Tony Dize almost five years to complete his brand new studio album, “La Melodia de la Calle: 3rd Season,” which was launched early this week.
“I started the album three years ago in my home with ‘Prometo Olvidarte,’ Tony Dize told Pulso POP about his latest production. “It has a lot of rhythms; not only reggaeton, but also bachata and some ballads.”

Dize, who was born in Massachusetts but resides in Puerto Rico, said his third studio album has many surprises, including collaborations with renowned artists such as Don Omar, Nicky Jam and Yandel, who was very supportive when he embarked his career.
“La Melodia de la Calle: 3rd Season,” follows the successful releases of his albums “La Melodia de la Calle” (2008) and “La Melodia de la Calle: Updated” (2009).
In his new release, the 30-year-old Puerto Rican star is also debuting as a producer. “I did 28 songs with my producer Raphy Pina, and we only chose 17 songs for the album,” he said.
Forming part of the selected tracks is “Duele el Amor,” Dize’s freshest and fifth single off the album.
“I’m just describing what people are living,” he said of “Duele el Amor.” “My inspiration comes from the true stories of people.”

Dize, who told Pulso POP that he’s a fan of Ricardo Arjona because his music gets in people’s skin, says he has the intention to achieve the same vibe with his urban melodies. “People can use my songs to express themselves,” Dize said of songs such as “Prometo Olvidarte,” “Ruleta Rusa” and “Duele el Amor.”
“La Melodia de la Calle: 3rd Season” is already available for purchase. If you’re in the 305 area this weekend, don’t miss Dize at the Miami Bash concert on April 10th.
