Meet The Colorful Cast Of Telemundo’s ‘Betty en NY’ [PHOTOS + VIDEOS]

“Betty in NY,” premiering at 9 p.m. ET on Feb. 6 on Telemundo, is a family-friendly series starring the young promising actress Elyfer Torres with the star cast of Erick Elias, Sabrina Seara, and Aaron Diaz.

“Betty in NY” reintroduces “Yo Soy Betty, La Fea”, one of the most memorable stories on international television, to a new generation of viewers. The series tells the adventures of Beatriz Aurora Rincón Lozano (Torres), a very intelligent and capable Mexican girl who lives in New York City and will go after her dreams, overcoming prejudices in a world where image is everything. After suffering six months of rejections in all the jobs to which she applies due to her physical appearance, Betty decides to accept a job far below her abilities. Thus, after entering the sophisticated fashion company V & M Fashion, she becomes the personal secretary of the company president. Although Betty is extremely competent and has great plans for personal growth, none of her many qualities can help her face the biggest challenge of all: finding true love.
