You guys! Salma Hayek has officially lost her “social media virginity.” It’s about time, girl!
If you haven’t noticed, the Mexican actress never really had a Facebook page or Twitter handle…but that all changed Wednesday morning when the 48-year-old revealed the news.
“Life is about new discoveries, so today after decades of a self-imposed allergy to technology, I am losing my social media virginity! I want to be there for the people who have supported me for all these years. Because I am grateful to them and I am hoping that they get to know me better. I am excited to start this new adventure with you and I hope that it will be a fun and inspiring one.”
The sexy Latina star also made a splash into Twitter and Instagram, where she made it clear that she’s just “learning the selfie thing.”
She might be new in the game, but her Facebook has already garnered nearly 35,000 likes, over 500 follows on Twitter and a whopping 18K + on Instagram.
