Prince Royce and Pitbull want you to ‘Back it Up’
Prince Royce has dropped a new single and he wants all the ladies to know that he’s their new boyfriend! In his latest track called “Back It Up,” the Dominican bachata singer recruits Pitbull —don’t act surprised, you knoooow Mr. 305 is everywhere.
The song is a “happy, positive song, a feel-good joint,” according to Royce. As for the collaboration, the New York-based singer said Pitbull was the perfect fit.

“‘Back It Up’ has this cool Caribbean vibe, and I felt it was perfect for a Pit collab, so I shared it with him. And the result is even better than what I had imagined,” he expressed to People Magazine.
Royce has been dominating the Latino music charts and made his crossover to the English-language market when he released his single “Stuck on a Feeling” featuring Snoop Dogg. This new stage in his career is a “natural progression” for Royce, who said that as a bilingual he loves all kinds of music.
