All-Access pass to the fun in Premios Tu Mundo | VIDEO
Aaron Diaz bared his ripped abs and toned figure at the stage of “Premios Tu Mundo,” enough eye-candy to call it a night, right? Wrong, because it was also a great night at the 3rd annual awards show, where singers delivered their hits and big winners gave touching speeches Thursday night.
But prior to the thrilling evening with some of the hottest stars in music and television, there was the vibrant blue carpet where the estrellas flaunted their best look.
Amusing answers followed questions such as: “What’s on the wallpaper of your phone?” and “What’s your guilty music pleasure?” You’d be shocked to know what these ravishing celebrities revealed to us in our exclusive video coverage above.VOXXI caught up with nominees, telenovela stars and music singers to play a fun game of “Red Carpet Revelations,” –in this case, blue carpet.
But despite us giving you an all-access pass to the fun and locura in the blue carpet of “Premios Tu Mundo,” we got the exciting deets of the big winners and performers.
Premios Tu Mundo in a nutshell
The show, hosted by telenovela actors Gaby Espino and Aaron Diaz, featured exhilarating and marvelous live performances by Juanes, Lucero, Natalia Jimenez, David Bisbal, Alexis y Fido, Gerardo Ortiz, La Ley and more.
Elvis Crespo and Olga Tañon, who collaborate together for the first time, also poured their passion and energy on the stage as they sang “A Celebrar.”
Actors Rafael Amaya took the title for Favorite Lead Actor of the Year; whereas, the gorgeous Gaby Espino nabbed Favorite Lead Actress of the Year.
The award for “Cancion Comienza-Fiestas” (Party-Starting Song) is for the undeniable hit single of Enrique Iglesias featuring Gente de Zona and Descemer Bueno, “Bailando.”
Daddy Yankee was named Favorite Urban Artist, Prince Royce was crowned with Favorite Tropical Artist and Gerardo Ortiz left the night as Favorite Norteño Artist.
But all eyes were set on the most sexy pair of the night: Gabriel Coronel and Ximena Duque. He won “Que Papacito!” (What a Hunk) and she won “Soy Sexy and I Know It” (I’m Sexy and I Know It).
We can talk forever about what happened before, during, after and even backstage of the show, but the anecdotes are countless.
We will tell you that while interviewing Favorite Banda of the Year winner, Kevin Ortiz, in the press room, he surprisingly revealed that his favorite artist is Pitbull.
As Daddy Yankee once said, these are “cosas que pasan en el barrio fino.”
