The performers and finalists of the hip and fresh Premios Tu Mundo awards show gathered at an enthusiastic and lively rehearsal in Miami on Tuesday to get ready for the big night; some of them gave VOXXI personal details in a fun game we like to call “Backstage Confessions.”

What do they really do when they’re spectating the show or what was their biggest fashion failure?

Latin pop singer David Bisbal, Urban duo Alexis y Fido, and Puerto Rican merengue stars Elvis Crespo and Olga Tañon spilled the deets, which can all be enjoyed in our video above.

But it wasn’t all fun and games at the Premios Tu Mundo (Your World) rehearsals, the artists also let us in on what to expect at the anticipating awards show.

“We’re going to be performing here…people are going to feel the good energy of who Alexis & Fido are,” Fido of Alexis & Fido said to VOXXI.

Alexis elaborated: “We’re going to sing the single that opened the doors for us, ‘Rompe La Cintura,’ and we have a cool mix that I know people will enjoy.

Spanish pop singer David Bisbal is also set to take his dirty blond curls to the stage, when he performs his second single “No Amaneces.”

“[The song] has a lot of power in my latest album ‘Tu y Yo,’” Bisbal shared. “It’s special for the people and it received many good reactions while I was on tour,” he stated.

Though the awards show promises to have surprises, thrilling performers and big wins, we are really looking forward to the presentation of two of merengue’s finest: Elvis Crespo and Olga Tañon.

The Puerto Rican pair will take the stage in a bombastic showcase of their song “A Celebrar.”

The special night, hosted by telenovela stars Gaby Espino and Aaron Diaz, will also count with the participation of Juanes, Yandel, El General Gadiel, Gabriel Coronel, La Ley, Lucero, Gerardo Ortiz, Natalia Jimenez and Los Tucuanes de Tijuana.

The Premios Tu Mundo awards will air at 8p.m. Eastern Time on Thursday, August 21st on Telemundo Network.
