Heat Latin Music Awards 2019: Karol G, Juanes & More Announced As First Wave Of Performers
Premios HEAT revealed today the first round of music stars set to perform at the upcoming 4th HEAT Latin Music Awards, including Latin rock superstar Juanes, Tropical music icon Olga Tañón, urban sensation Karol G, Puerto Rican urban singer Farruko, Colombian artists, Greeicy & Mike Bahiá, Venezuelan urban artist, Thomaz, Chilean singer, Américo and Dominican Tropical artist Gabriel.
Global superstar, multi-GRAMMY and Latin GRAMMY winner, Juanes will have a special participation in the ceremony this year performing his greatest hits. Puerto Rican songstress, Olga Tañón will debut a new song and bring her infectious rhythms to the awards for the first time.
Greeicy and Mike Bahía who are nominated for their hit song, “Amantes” in the Best Collaboration category will each perform their hits. Chilean artist, Américo who is nominated for Best Southern Artist, will perform his romantic style cumbia. Gabriel will perform his fusion of merengue and urban beats and will compete in the Best Tropical Artist, Best North Artist & Best Video categories.
Karol G is set to deliver a stellar performance of her greatest hits packed with her unique style and strong feminine urban sound. She is nominated for three awards including: Best Female Artist, Best Urban Artist (being the only woman nominated) and Best Video for her single “Pineapple”. Farruko who is nominated for two awards, Best Urban Artist and Best Collaboration, will also take the stage.
The HEAT Latin Music Awards taking place on May 13th at the HardRock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic will recognize some of the most outstanding artists of the year in Latin music. The show that unites all of Latin America will be televised live on HTV and TNT to millions of viewers.
