Pedro Capó Honored To Sing Puerto Rico’s National Anthem At Cotto Vs. Canelo
Pedro Capó is having a “Sweet November” after it was announced that he will sing Puerto Rico’s National Anthem at the highly-anticipated fight of the year, Cotto vs. Canelo.

The Puerto Rican singer is not only nominated for the first time at the Latin Grammys with two nominations, including Song of the Year, but he’s also been personally selected by countryman boxer Miguel Cotto to sing the island’s anthem at the boxing match against Canelo Alvarez.
Capó, who also celebrated his 35th birthday this month, expressed the following in a statement:
“As a Puerto Rican and a fan of boxing, I’m so proud to have the privilege to perform our national anthem at what will surely be one of the biggest sporting events of the year. In the month of November, I’ll be celebrating my birthday, my Latin Grammy nominations, and I’ll close out the month like one can only dream, alongside our champion Miguel Cotto on Nov. 21 live on HBO Pay-Per-View. I feel like I’m at a beautiful place in my life right now. I couldn’t be happier or more appreciative.”

The Cotto vs. Canelo boxing match will air live on November 21st from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, live on HBO Pay-Per-View.
