Paty Cantú Reveals Her IRL ‘Cuenta Pendiente’ With Alejandro Sanz [EXCLUSIVE VIDEO]

Paty Cantu’s lifelong dream, ever since she was a kid, was to collaborate with Alejandro Sanz.

In an 1:1 interview she fessed to PulsoPOP editor, Jessica Roiz, that she would play-pretend she was singing with him onstage. To make a long story short, Cantú has now made her dream come true with her new single “Cuenta Pendiente” featuring the man himself, Mr. Sanz. The music video has garnered over 18 million views on YouTube and more than 4.5 million streams on Spotify alone.

During its debut, the song dominated the top sales charts on iTunes in over 10 countries and since its release it has been part of the top viral playlists in more than 12 countries including Spain, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Perú, Guatemala and the U.S., among others.

Adding to the single’s success, her followers across the globe made their own version of the song including fans in Germany, Japan, France, Spain, Mexico, Colombia, Brazil and Argentina. In addition to this, the single took over the top radio spots in Mexico, Argentina and Colombia.

“Cuenta Pendiente” brings forth something different from the norm. It showcases musical diversity and different influences and possibilities within Latin music.

After the international success from her most recent release #333 (CD + DVD), which obtained Gold and Platinum sales certifications for both her singles and album in Mexico, Colombia, Perú, Ecuador and Chile; and garnered over 100 million streams in Spotify, the singer, composer and producer launched the Deluxe Edition of this album.

This new version includes 2 CD’s + 1 DVD with a repertoire of international hits, alternative versions of classical singles, unedited footage, spectacular duets and live performances from Guadalajara and Jalisco showcasing the quality and intimacy with her fans from her #333LIVE tour.

The fans can now enjoy various new singles which where recorded in studios across the U.S., Switzerland, England and Mexico. They’ll also be able to watch new oficial music videos for all of the songs from this new movement, starting with “Valiente” and ending with “Cuenta Pendiente.”
