Pabllo Vittar Celebrates Pride Month with First-Ever US Tour [VIDEO + PHOTOS]
Brazilian singer-songwriter and drag queen, Pabllo Vittar, began her “NPN PRIDE TOUR” with five successful shows after her performances at the Pride Festivals in Los Angeles (LA Pride Festival), Boston (Boston Pride), Miami (Wynwood Pride Music Fest), Chicago (Chicago Pride) and Toronto (Toronto Pride Festival), where her fans enjoyed her biggest and most recent hits.
The shows were full of lights, colors, fashion and a lot of dancing. The audience was enthusiastic and full of energy, which is never absent when Vittar goes on stage. In turn, the singer dedicated herself to sharing her messages on the importance of gender equality and inclusion and celebrated with her audience the strides the LGBTQ+ community has taken to this day.
While promoting her gigs in the U.S., PulsoPOP sat down with the Brazilian star to talk about her shows, her inspirations, her friendship with Lali, and her first-ever Premios Juventud nomination. See full video interview below:
As if this were not enough, last Wednesday, June 18, GLOBAL CITIZEN featured Pabllo as an icon of the LGBTQ+ community to perform at an intimate concert from the central house of the United Nations in order to continue amplifying, and raising awareness, of the campaign’s message “LEAVE NO ONE BEHIND.” This campaign, in addition to working and raising awareness to end extreme poverty around the world by 2030, also makes continuous efforts to achieve the inclusion of the LGBTQ+ community around the world. WNBA Hall of Famer Teresa Weatherspoon introduced Pabllo, who then captivated all the UN ambassadors and VIPs with an exciting spectacle.
Pabllo sang her most recent hits, such as “Problema Seu” and “Corpo Sensual,” as well as “Indestrutivel,” a song that has a message to raise awareness about the discrimination of the LGBTQ+ community in Brazil.
