‘Me Caigo de Risa’: Mela La Melaza Presents The New Family Show on Univision [VIDEO]
On Sunday nights, viewers will “fall down laughing” when the sketch comedy show “Me Caigo de Risa” premieres on Univision in a special edition made for U.S. audiences. Comedian Faisy, host of Me Caigo in Mexico for four seasons, is joined by some of Univision’s funniest personalities.
The special five-episode season will feature “Despierta América” co-host and NBL winner Francisca Lachapel as “Mela La Melaza,” “El Gordo y La Flaca’s” beloved producer Carlitos “El Productor,” along with comedians Fernando Arau and Paul Stanley.
In each show, the regular cast of comedians and celebrity guests join in hilarious sketches and compete in zany mental and physical challenges. Put to the test against the clock, the celebrities read lips, fight against real “Lucha Libre” wrestlers, sing opera, defy gravity, and improvise in hysterical situations.
“Me Caigo de Risa” premieres on Sunday, February 17, at 8pm ET/PT 7pm CT on Univision with guest stars Irina Baeva, Gabriel Soto, Angelica Vale and Consuelo Duval. Other VIP guests slated for the season are: Claudia Alvarez, Kimberly Dos Ramos, David Zepeda, Adriel Favela, Polo Morin, Pablo La Torre Ramirez, and Michelle Renaud.
