Meet FEGA: From Hustling For A Dream to Dropping ’90 60 90′ [EXCLUSIVE]
Rising artist FEGA is the perfect example that ~following your dreams~ can get you to unimaginable places.
The Puerto Rican singer, whose real name is Felix Gabriel, was discovered by the producers of Univision’s “La Banda” on YouTube, where he would upload his musical talents. After auditioning for La Banda’s first season in 2015 and not making it past the first round, FEGA auditioned for season two, making it to the grand finale.
Despite not forming part of the winning group, the 25-year-old artist continued to pursue his music career at his finger tips, using social media to flourish his career. It was his viral cover of Zion & Lennox’s “Otra Vez” featuring J Balvin [1 million streams in less than a month!] that nabbed the attention of various record labels, ultimately signing to Warner Music Latina.
Today, FEGA officially kicks off his rode to stardom, launching his new single “90-60-90,” a sexy Latin r&b-urban track with hints of cumbia melodies that highlights the beauty of a girl.
PulsoPOP caught up with the emerging talent in Los Angeles to talk all about his new song and more.
