After ‘Soltera,’ Lunay Is Ready To Make Global Waves With Debut Album ‘Epico’ [VIDEO]
At only 19 years old, Lunay, born Jefnier Osorio Moreno, has found the way to conquer the music industry. The recipe is simple: pearly whites, dark features, crazy talent, and a summer anthem.
In February 2019, the newcomer dropped “Soltera,” a track solely dedicated to single girls worldwide. A couple of months later, reggaeton veteran Daddy Yankee and trap king Bad Bunny jumped on the remix, taking the song to the masses and even landing on Billboard’s reputable Hot 100 chart.
Before becoming a household name, Lunay was a social media sensation dropping his freestyle videos on Facebook. He was discovered by producers Chris Jeday and Gaby Music, who for the past two years, have taken the artist-to-watch under their wings.
Twenty-Nineteen has been a key year in Lunay’s rising career, home to memorable accolades such as performing on Jimmy Kimmel Live, nabbing the Latin American Music Award for Best New Artist, and dropping his first-ever studio album, “Epico,” to say the least.
“This is a gift for my fans,” he told PulsoPOP of his debut set. “It’s a very varied album that I’ve been working on for almost 14 months. I have songs with Anuel, Ozuna, and Wisin & Yandel.”
In an interview with PulsoPOP reporter Andrea Camila Bernal, the boricua star talked about his new production, his bromance with Anuel AA, his dream girl, and promises 2020 to be an even more epic year in his career.
