Forming part of their upcoming project is their new single “I Won’t Cry For You,” an empowering track with a retro swing sound meshed with norteño beats.
“The song’s about a change of heart,” lead singer Marisol Hernandez a.k.a. La Marisoul told LA Weekly. “Everyone’s been in a relationship and you’re not feeling it. You wake up and feel different.” The California-based publication also notes that the Mexican-American band will soon release their second single called “Calaverita,” in honor of Dia de Los Muertos.
Both records belong to the band’s upcoming album, scheduled for a February release.
