Julio Iglesias makes a comeback with ‘Fallaste Corazon’
Julio Iglesias’ voice is on fleek —yes, still after almost fifty years in the biz and at 71 years old!
The Spanish crooner surprised everyone Friday after dropping a new single called “Fallaste Corazon” (You failed, dear), the first single forming part of his forthcoming album “Mexico – Julio Iglesias.” A tribute to the country that embraced his successful career from the beginning.

“Mexico is a country that I love dearly. The Mexican people have given me many indelible moments in my life. I know this country as if it was my homeland, and I always carry it in my soul,” the father of Enrique Iglesias said.
“This record is dedicated to the outstanding composers who, generation after generation, filled our lives with love, nostalgia, memories and moments. After all these years, they remain alive in our souls. With all my respect and profound admiration,” he added.
Though he never really went m.i.a., this is considered Iglesias’ comeback after 12 years of releasing his last Spanish-language album.
Iglesias, who sings in 12 languages, has an honorary doctorate from Berklee and is the Best-Selling Latino Artist of All Time, states that the Mexican music is “universal” and its composers are “legendary.”
