Meet iZaak: Latin Urban’s Newest Sensation With A Different Vibe [VIDEO]
At 26 years old, it’s easy to say that iZaak is one of the youngest artists in the Latin Urban scene. But truth be told, he’s been in the biz for 23 years.
His passion for music began at the age of 3 when he would sing at his church in Puerto Rico. Since, he’s been devoted to composing and singing. After being part of a popular boy band called Los Menores during his teen years, iZaak—born Isaac Ortiz—embarked a solo career.

At only 17 years old, iZaak was signed to White Lion Records, the record label owned by Elias de Leon that opened the doors to many renowned artists such as Tego Calderon and Calle 13. With nearly 10 years as a solo artist, the half Puerto Rican, half Dominican is ready to conquer the world with his unique sound.
“I’m bringing a different proposal,” he told PulsoPOP. “Something fresh, something new, a complete show: acoustic, a cappella, people need that.”
Part of his proposal includes his latest single, El Amor Se Cayo, a song that he says is easy to learn, for all the ages to enjoy, danceable, and relatable. The single will form part of iZaak’s upcoming album that is currently in the works.

“I have a lot of songs and I have to pick and choose,” he said of the forthcoming production. “It’s going to have my reggaetons, my bachatas, my ballads… they’re incredible. The audience needs versatility and I want to give people what they want.”
