‘Llego La Queen’: Ivy Queen Drops Comeback EP To Let The World Know She’s Here To Stay [VIDEO]
The undisputed queen of Reggaeton, Ivy Queen launches her new EP, “Llego La Queen”, a collection of 7 tracks which once again display her versatility and impeccable flow and style. With this release Ivy Queen continues to leave her mark and remains one of the most respected and admired artists by her peers in the industry.
In describing the reason for her new musical project, Ivy Queen says: “A net is made up of ropes and the ropes are made of threads. A single thread breaks easily, but many braided threads make for a very strong net, one that is capable of holding even a boat weighing a thousand tons. That’s how I describe the love for my fans. For them I created what they asked for: and everything is in this EP “.
With her new musical venture “La Caballota” fuses piano riffs and guitars with the power of electronic beats, rhythmic boxes and synthesizers which covers a variety of topics ranging from the heartbreak (“Y tú”), declarations of passion and seduction (‘Baile Para Ti’) to imposing trap tracks (“Malvada” and “Polvora”).
The first single “Pal ‘Frente y Pa’ Tras”, is a vigorous invitation to have a good time on the dance floor. The song was produced by Ivy Queen in collaboration with Miguel Antonio de Jesus Cruz (‘Guelo Star’), known for penning Daddy Yankee and Wisin y Yandel’s smash hit “Todo Comienza En La Disco”.
The EP opens with a kind of hymn in which “The Queen of Reggaeton” stuns with a dramatic vocal while revealing with power an important announcement: “The Queen is Here” or “Llego La Queen”.
In her new EP, Ivy Queen continues to dominate in the world of Latin Urban music, ratifying her hierarchy in this genre and at the same time, as usual, she brings inspirational messages of empowerment for women.
“Llego La Queen” is available today on all digital platforms, and the video for her first single “Pal ‘Frente y Pa’ Tras”, which was produced by Cinema Entertainment, can be seen on YouTube.
This coming March 21st, she will be the recipient of the “Lifetime Achievement Award” and honored with a special tribute for her contribution to the genre, at the first annual Premios Tu Música Urbana, which will be held in Puerto Rico.
