Grupo Treo’s New Generation Is An Explosion Of Flavor!
Since their debut in 2008 as a group, Grupo Treo has seen many generations come and go. The original members formed in Caracas, Venezuela and became known for their hit single “Cuando Te Veo.” Although the founding boys are long gone, a new trio, composed by Monti (Puerto Rico), Leo (Venezuela) and Nesty (Cuba), has taken over and given a fresh sound to Grupo Treo.

“This new generation was formed because we were all recommended,” Monti, 26, told PulsoPOP. “Leo was recommended by an artist in Venezuela, Nesty already had a huge following on social media and I moved from Texas to Florida. That’s how we met,” he added, of the group that began making the rounds in January.
In celebration of their almost one-year anniversary, the boys have dropped their single “Nadie Nos Va A Parar,” a song that has made a great impression on social media. “It’s a fun song with great energy. The frase is very empowering,” Leo, 26, told PulsoPOP. “It’s the theme song of this generation,” he added.
“Nadie Nos Va A Parar” forms part of the boys upcoming album expected to launch Spring 2016. “It’s going to be a complete album with a lot of fusion. It’s going to make people dance,” Leo continued, stating that every month they’ll be release teasers on what’s to come via their social media accounts.

With almost 10 years as a household name, Monti assures that the new generation is different for many reasons. “We’re a trio, but we’re all from different countries. We mesh our cultures and that’s reflected in the music we’re creating,” he said. “That’s what makes us authentic and original.”
The handsome boys, who one day wish to collaborate with artists such as Gente De Zona, Daddy Yankee and Marc Anthony, describe their sound as an “explosion of flavor” and say it’s meant to send a positive message to today’s youth.
