Gerardo Ortiz is coming to a theater near you —we swear, we’re not making this up! The Mexican Regional super star, who is all the rage on social media and in the music biz, launched the trailer of his first-ever film.

No, he’s not starring in a new movie (though he already made his acting debut in “Spare Parts”) and no, he’s not the director of an upcoming flick. In fact, the 25-year-old California-based singer is debuting a documentary on his latest album “Hoy Mas Fuerte” and his tour.

However, we can tell from the official trailer, that the 90-minute movie called “Como Un Sueño” will be more than just about Ortiz in the recording studios and his beloved fans going cray, cray at concerts.

The movie, which was directed by renowned Dominican Jessy Terrero, will premiere on October 9 in nine different AMC Theatres in the U.S. Check out the locations and watch the exhilarating trailer below!
