After five studio albums and five tours, Farruko embarks a new stage in his career as Latin Trap artist with TrapxFicante.
The Puerto Rican artist, who’s known for his hit reggaeton songs Chillax, Obsesionado, and Lejos de Aqui, has now found a new passion in Latin Trap.

Trap music originated from Southern hip hop and has been around since the ’90s. The subgenre, where artists such as Outkast and Ghetto Maffia have been pioneers, has been highly criticized by its uncensored lyrics about the street life, poverty, drugs, and violence.
Now, many Latin urban artists have brought to the forefront Latin Trap with the same concept and brand new faces, such as Messiah, Bryant Myers, and Noriel.
Farruko has also jumped on board and has kicked off concerts around the U.S. with his Trapxficante Tour.
“It’s a new concept and you’re going to see that in my show,” he said of his tour to Pulso POP. “I have audiovisuals, special guests, and there’s a live band. People are going to like the spectacle. It’s a different proposal from that everyone is used to seeing in reggaeton concerts.”
Some of Farruko’s special tour guests include Bad Bunny, Jacob Forever, and Lary Over.
