‘Puras Cosas Maravillosas’: Erika De La Vega’s Mission To Inspire Others [VIDEO]
After the massive worldwide success of Every Brilliant Thing by English playwright Duncan Macmillan, Erika de la Vega took matters into her own hands and is now the first Latina to send the play’s beautiful and inspirational message to a Spanish audience.

Puras Cosas Maravillosas, which is running until July 22 at the Colony Theatre in Miami Beach, is a play that tells the story of a girl who jots down a list of things for which it’s worth living for after her mother attempted suicide.
“It’s not easy to talk about suicide and depression and this is space is for that, to talk about these topics with a humorous tone,” the Venezuelan comedian said to PulsoPOP of her interactive monologue.

Directed by Michel Hausmann, the play hopes to teach everyone about the importance of talking to someone when their feeling down and the importance of making a list of all the things that make them happy. Miami fans, purchase tickets here.
