El Robotico Pays Tribute To Old-School Reggaeton with ‘Por Mi Reggae Muero’ [EXCLUSIVE]
Nicaraguan urban artist El Robotico returns to the music scene after being inactive for the first time in his long musical career. During his one-year hiatus, he was carrying out important personal projects, but now he returns with a lot enthusiasm, launching a tribute to the Latin urban genre.
Born Humberto Peralta in Managua, Nicaragua, El Robotico makes his highly-awaited comeback accompanied by a new face in the Nicaraguan music industry known as YC Camacho, who has made a name for himself on social media with his covers of famous songs.
El Robotico’s “Por mi reggae muero” featuring YC Camacho is an original song by Wisin and Yandel released in 2001 on the “DJ Blass Sandunguero” album. In their new version, El Robotico and YC Camacho retake the chorus and add new lyrics, sounds and fresh musical styles to achieve a refreshing, danceable and energetic track for all ages.
El Robótico is and has been, since his inception in the music industry in 2008, the leading artist and one of the pioneers of the urban movement in Nicaragua, venturing into the reggaeton genre with a trajectory of more than 10 years where he managed to position himself at the top of all the radio stations in his country, also achieving success in Costa Rica and Guatemala.
With the release of “Por Mi Reggae Muero,” he now returns stronger than ever being driven by his independent record label “Lo Mas Ranqueado” located in the city of Miami Florida.
