COASTCITY Talks Love For Los Angeles & Reggaeton Duos Ahead of Grammy Nomination [EXCLUSIVE VIDEO]
COASTCITY, composed by Jean Rodriguez and Danny Flores, has got a lot to celebrate, including their 2019 Grammy nomination.
In December 2018, the duo revealed the exciting news on Instagram. “What a morning 😱!!! … Increíble este regalo que nos han dado hoy. Our 1st little self made COASTCITY EP is getting recognized by the industry’s BEST. SOOOO thankful and proud of what we’ve accomplished this year. GRACIAS.”
COASTCITY is nominated for Best Latin Rock, Urban or Alternative Album alongside Aterciopelado’s “Claroscura,” Monsieur Perine’s “Encanto Tropical,” Orisha’s “Gourmet,” and Zoe’s “Aztlan.”
Ahead of music’s biggest night, airing Sunday Feb. 10 on CBS, the Miami-based duo caught up with PulsoPOP reporter Karla Bonilla for a quick Q&A in Los Angeles, Calif.
“Los Angeles is like a second home for us. It has inspired us a lot and it’s where we’ve done most of our live shows. What we have is nothing but love!” they said, before flaunting their reggaeton duo knowledge in a fun game.
