You’ll Be Completely Smitten By Camilo & Evaluna’s First-Ever Collab: Watch ‘Por Primera Vez’

Camilo and Evaluna Montaner have released their single and video “Por Primera Vez” via Sony Music Latin and Hecho a Mano, becoming a milestone in their professional and personal lives, as it is the first time that the couple has recorded and released a song together.

The romantic pop song describes the joyous moment they are experiencing as newlyweds who married in February. By way of social media, millions of people have been captivated by this idyllic love story between the Colombian singer and songwriter and the Venezuelan singer-songwriter and actress. Now, their fans are guests of honor for one of the most important events of their lives.

Written by Camilo Echeverry, EvalunaMontaner, Juan Morelli, Jon Leone and Gabriel Edgar González Pérez, “Por Primera Vez” features the signature style that has led Camilo to become one of the most renowned artists of his generation, and also highlights the celestial vocal performance of Evaluna. The single music video was directed by Joy Prouty and filmed during the wedding in Homestead, Florida.

“Collaborating with my husband is a dream come true. It’s a song that is just like us, and I’m thrilled that people will be able to know us better,” Evaluna says. For his part, Camilo observes that “It’s the collaboration of my dreams. I’m singing a song with the woman to whom I write all of my songs.”

“Por Primera Vez” is to be included on Camilo’s debut album, to be released in April 2020. It will also include his smash singles “No Te Vayas,” “Tutu” featuring Pedro Capó and Shakira, and “La Difícil.” After the release of this highly anticipated album, Camilo will embark on a U.S. tour.
