After three decades in the entertainment biz, Benicio del Toro becomes a brand spokesperson for the first time! The Puerto Rican actor is happy to be the new face of Heineken as part of its new bilingual campaign targeting heritage and quality.

“I couldn’t be happier having the opportunity to work with Heineken to bring this project to life in a fun way,” said Benicio Del Toro to Pulso POP via a press statement. “Heineken has a rich history and heritage that speaks for itself, and I’m excited to bring my talents to this global campaign.”
In the ad, the actor, who is part of the upcoming “Star Wars Episode 8″ movie, makes fun of himself by making statements such as: “This is NOT Antonio Banderas” and “the beer is served in 192 countries, it’s world famous…like me!” “It’s nerve-racking, I didn’t know how it was going to turn out, but it’s an honor,” Del Toro said of his first-ever brand campaign.
