Meet Piso 21, the new face of Pop Urban Fusion | VIDEO
Let us introduce you to a hidden gem from Medellin, Colombia called Piso 21. They are a big deal in countries such as Mexico, Spain, Argentina, Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru and especially in their native country. Before we go any further, we must mention that these guys are down-to-earth in person, well-grounded, extremely talented and very much worth your time.
Piso 21 is a pop-urban group composed of four young, good-looking guys that go by the nicknames of “Dim,” “Llane,” “El Profe” and “Pablito.” As their youngest member Pablito told Pulso POP, “it may sound weird but that’s our style,” he said of their musical fusion.

They are called Piso 21 because they met at a party of a mutual friend, which just so happened to be on the 21st floor of the building.
The boys, who were a 2012 Latin GRAMMY nominee for Best New Artist, have managed to take by storm all of Latin American with their undeniable talent and catchy melodies. They now hope to do the same with Europe and the United States.
“We hope that by December 2015 Piso 21 has traveled the whole world,” El Profe said of the group’s expectaction. “That way people from even the farthest country know that we are a group from Medellin, Colombia,” he added.
Piso 21’s special bond with Nicky Jam
We don’t doubt that these guys will achieve their biggest goals and Puerto Rican star Nicky Jam could probably agree with us.
In their recent visit to Miami, Fla., the boys spoke of their hit single “Suele Suceder” featuring the reggaeton singer, which whom they have a great bond with.
“It’s a song about being unfaithful, from the point of view of the lover,” Llane told Pulso POP. “You never know what you have until you lose it and that’s what this song is about.”
In “Suele Suceder,” which translates to “It tends to happen,” the quartet invited Nicky Jam to deliver some fresh rhymes.

“Nicky is a good friend of ours, he lives in Medellin and we have a very close relationship with him,” Pablito said. “When you have a good relation with the other artist, you can hear that in the song.”
Aside their smash single with Nicky, Piso 21 is also dando guerra with their latest and sensual record “Quitate La Pena.” Really, it’s amazing!
