Meet The Latinx Cast in OWN’s New Sexy Series ‘Ambitions’ [EXCLUSIVE VIDEO]

Ambitions, the new sexy series premiering Tuesday, June 18 on Oprah Winfrey’s OWN TV network, explores the attractive and deceptive machinations of love, power and politics in America’s hottest urban mecca, Atlanta, Georgia. The series focuses on the intense rivalry between the formidable legal eagles Stephanie Lancaster (Robin Givens) and Amara Hughes (Essence Atkins), former best friends of the university who find themselves as adversaries both in their personal and professional lives.

Joining the cast is a new wave of actors who are keeping the Latinx generation in the forefront with their non-stereotypical roles. PulsoPOP sat down with Colombian actress Maria Legarda (Perla), Cuban-American actor Matt Cedeño (Ignacio), and Mexican-American actress Erica Page (Bella Tru) to talk all about their empowering characters in the series and the importance of Latinx representation in the big and small screen.
