Christian Daniel: ‘I want to leave a strong footprint with my music’ | VIDEO
Christian Daniel owned the stage Sunday night, as he crooned the beautiful finalists of “Nuestra Belleza Latina” with his single “Me Vuelvo un Cobarde.” While the Caribbean stud has his strong fan base, he might be a new face to others. But don’t worry, because Pulso POP has got the scoop on this week’s Artist to Watch.
Christian Daniel was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, resides in Miami, Fla. and is also of Cuban descent. While his blood screams Caribbean flavor, Christian’s music is geared toward a more romantic sound.

In a one-on-one with the singer, he revealed to Pulso POP that he began his journey at the age of 18 under Emilio Estefan’s and Sean Comb’s Bad Boy Latino Records, where he maintained for four years prior to joining Sony Music. With Sony, he released his sophomore album “Todo lo que tengo,” which had the Latin American hit “Pedacito de Cielo.”
He’s now ventured on to his third production Renacer, which is set to release in October. His first single, “Me Vuelvo un Cobarde” has already made the rounds, captivating the hearts of many.
“I’m launching myself not only as a singer but a songwriter, because all the tracks on the album are mine. I worked 10 months in this album with great producers,” Christian Daniel told Pulso POP about his first release under an independent record label. “We’re number one in Billboard’s Pop chart and that makes me very happy,” he added of his latest single.
Christian Daniel invades “Nuestra Belleza Latina”
Since his starting days, the Puerto Rican/Cuban artist has received a lot of support and great feedback from colleagues, fans and the press. His goal for 2015, however, is to keep growing as a singer.
“I want to gain more credibility as an artist,” he told Pulso POP. “I want to leave a firm footprint with my music. That way, I can maintain my name at the top and many people around the world can be familiar with who I am.”
Following the release of his successful pop tune “Me Vuelvo un Cobarde,” Christian is ready to unleash his second single at the ending of April. However, he’s having a tough time deciding which of his hits he’ll introduce next.
“I have two songs in the battle: ‘Te Has Convertido en Mi’ and ‘Y Ahora Que Te Vas,'” he said. “They’re two pop ballads and they’re so good.”

Christian Daniel, who would love to fuse Regional Mexicana or urban rhythms in the future, said he wants to send empowering messages through his music.
“My music has soul in the lyrics,” he told Pulso POP. “And music is the best psychology a human being has.” Watch the video for “Me Vuelvo un Cobarde” below:
