Camilo Releases His Craft Debut Album ‘Por Primera Vez’: See The Tracklist

Camiloreleased his debut album Por Primera Vez (For the First Time) today. This crowning achievement comes just a little over a year after he announced his signing of a recording contract with Sony Music US Latin and Hecho a Mano.

Right from the start, Camilo captivated millions of music lovers around the world with his distinctive singing and songwriting concept, notable for its transparency and freshness. Since then, the singer-songwriter from Medellín, Colombia, has become a standard-bearer of his generation, traveling to multiple countries and meeting his growing legions of fans, who are known as “La Tribu”.

He has earned Diamond, Platinum and Gold sales certifications for his singles, while receiving nominations for the industry’s most prestigious awards and collaborating with such greats as Sebastián Yatra, Reik, Matisse, Mau y Ricky, Dani Martin and Farruko. He has garnered millions of audio streams and over 1 billion total views on his YouTube channel.

Despite having so many dreams come true and enjoying so many unforgettable experiences, he keeps his feet firmly on the ground: “It doesn’t matter how long I keep working at it, I always want to maintain the feeling of being a new artist,” Camilo says in announcing his album.

Six of the 10 tracks of Por Primera Vez are already beloved hits – “Tutu” (Youyou) in its original version and remix, “No Te Vayas” (Don’t Go), “La Difícil” (The Challenging Woman), “Por Primera Vez” (For the First Time) and “Favorito” (Favorite). Inspired by love in its highest form, this album features pure, honest lyrics accompanied by a diverse range of musical genres, with such world-renowned collaborators as Shakira, Pedro Capó, Christian Nodal and Evaluna Montaner.

As Camilo himself puts it, this album co-produced by himself and Jon Leone, was created at home and with his family, where he wrote and recorded these 10 songs in the company of such talented young producers, engineers, composers and musicians as Mau Montaner, Ricky Montaner, Tainy, Richi Lopez, Nicolás Ramirez, Juan Morelli, Edgar Barrera, Rafa Arcaute, Evaluna Montaner, Gaby Music, Josh Gudwin, Gabriel Edgar González Pérez “Rec 808”, George Noriega, Luis Barrera Jr., Mike Bozzi, Alejandro Patiño “Mosty”, Andrés Saavedra, Natalia Ramirez and Sebastián Yatra.
