‘Enamorándonos’ Is The New Dating Show You Need To Watch [VIDEO]
“Enamorándonos” (Love is Calling), the reality show dedicated to finding true love, will premiere on Sunday, September 8, at 7 p.m. ET/PT (6 p.m. CT) on UniMás with a special simulcast on Univision. The two-hour program will air Monday through Friday during the same times lot on UniMás.
Hosted by well-known Chilean TV presenter Rafael Araneda with Univision’s popular personality Ana Patricia Gámez as co-host, “Enamorándonos” will help viewers from the U.S. and Puerto Rico find their potential soulmates. UniMás personality Roberto Hernández joins the show as love correspondent, following the couples closely on their dates, sharing everything that happens behind the camera and giving the audience an intimate look as love stories develop.
“As part of UniMás’ new era of more original and bold LIVE programming, we are thrilled to bring the globally successful “Enamorándonos” format to our audience,” said Jessica Rodríguez, President of Entertainment and Chief Marketing Officer at Univision. “In this innovative and interactive reality about long-lasting love, viewers will be able to participate in the show not only as spectators but as possible protagonists of the love stories that will unfold onscreen.”
Enamorándonos – How does it work?
“Enamorándonos” features twenty-four singles of different ages from around the country searching for a lifelong partner. These diverse candidates will introduce themselves to the public and will be in the studio every night. Viewers that are interested in a candidate will be able to reach out to the show by visiting Enamorandonos.com, calling 1(833)266-7700 or via EnamorandonosUSA on Facebook and Instagram.
Viewers who advance to the next round will get to travel to Miami to meet the person they are interested in. Every night, there will be many ways to find out who is really attracted out of love, who feels or has that special connection that only love can provide:
- A wall will separate couples during their initial conversation to ensure that the “sparks” of love are not just physical.
- If there is a connection, the wall is withdrawn and the two will move on to an in-studio cafe to continue the conversation.
- Later on, they will be asked if they are interested in going on a date outside the studio and followed by a camera.
- If no “sparks” fly between them on the date, the candidates will return to the show until they finally find their soulmate, no matter how long it takes.
“Enamorándonos” has been an international hit in countries such as Colombia, Germany, Mexico, Romania and Turkey, and has tallied more than 500 marriages and 272 babies around the world. “Enamorándonos,” with a live studio audience and featuring a live band, will air from Univision’s studios in Miami. “Enamorándonos” is a version of the Turkish hit “Love is calling” by SoHo Formats.
