The new exhilarating season follows the life of Vicenta Acero (portrayed by Carolina Miranda), six years after the death of her husband and her new future as a mother.

Here’s where we left off with Sr. Acero:

Vicenta Acero is eight months pregnant and burying her husband, Daniel Phillips, who has died after spending six months in a coma.

Alberto Fuentes (David Chocarro) is the FBI agent who shows up at the funeral following an anonymous call made by Vicenta notifying that the murderer of her husband was there. He arrives at the exact moment Vicenta is confronting him face to face.

Vicenta’s water breaks, but there is no time to get to a hospital, and Alberto, in the middle of nowhere, delivers Vicenta’s baby. A strong bond emerges between them from this event. Vicenta makes Alberto promise her that, if something happens to her, he will take care of her son. Alberto, who has always wanted a son, takes this promise very seriously.
