As tradition holds, Billboard’s Latin Music Week is hands down and event that all music junkies, and aspiring artists will love and should attend.
The three-day conferences, taking place from April 23 to April 25 in Las Vegas, are not only a perfect time to network with colleagues and people who share your same passion, but it’s also the spot to get schooled about the music industry by the big dogs.
In previous year, the conferences have counted with educational and entertaining panels that included artists such as Romeo Santos, Carlos Santana, Becky G, Daddy Yankee, Erika Ender, and much more.
As if that’s not convincing enough to catch a plane and join us, here are some reasons you won’t want to miss it!
The Superstar Q&A with Maluma
I’ve covered the conferences in the past and I can assure you that the Q&A panel, hosted by Executive Director of Latin Content and Programming for Billboard, Leila Cobo, is one you will get a kick of. This year, the honorable hot seat is given the Colombian urban artist, Maluma, who has captivated fans from all over the world with hits such as “Felices Los 4” and “Corazon.”
Making the Hits with Ozuna
Ok, who wouldn’t want 30 minutes with Ozuna? I know I would! From 11:45 to 12:15pm on April 24, the artist with the most songs on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart will give a live breakdown of how his top hits were made.
The Rock Star Q&A with Maná
If you’re a sucker for Latin rock, then this panel is one for the books! Fher Olvera and Alex Gonzalez of Maná will discuss philanthropy, using their Selva Negra Foundation as the departure point for a candid chat on responsibility and artistry in our current time.
