Chiquis Gets Real About ‘The Riveras’ New Season: ‘We’re Perfectly Imperfect’ [INTERVIEW]
Your favorite siblings (and children of the late Jenni Rivera) are back for a new season! The Riveras—Chiquis, Jacqie, Jenicka, Mike, and Johnny—face new challenges as they struggle with adulthood. Despite their many obstacles, they remain a strong family. One that is “perfectly imperfect,” according to older sister Chiquis.
“I feel the success of The Riveras has been the fact that we are very raw and honest” the Mexican-American singer said. “We are all going through changes and are there to support each other. I think my Mom would be so proud. With that being said, we are perfectly imperfect.”
In season 3, which airs every Sunday at 10 p.m. ET on NBC Universo, fans will meet Chiquis’ new bae, Lorenzo Mendez, get inspired by Jacqie’s 70-pounds weight loss and Johnny’s bravery of coming out as gay, and follow Mike’s and Jenicka’s career moves.
