If You Haven’t Heard Of Martina La Peligrosa, You’ve Been Missing Out
Let’s get real. If you haven’t heard of Martina La Peligrosa and her bomb ass music, you’ve been missing out.
Born Martina Lopez Llorente in the town of Lorica in northern Colombia, Martina La Peligrosa kicked off her music career as a child singing in her school’s choir before becoming a background vocalist for artists such as her sister, Adriana Lucía, Carlos Vives and Alberto Plaza.

For five years, she was a performer at Vives’ restaurant Gaira Cumbia House in Bogota, where she got discovered.
Over the past two years, Martina la Peligrosa has been building her empire, gaining quick popularity on social media and sharing stages with some of the big dogs in the industry, such as Maluma and Chocquibtown.
Her music is a fusion of champeta (folk music and dance), cumbia, porro, vallenato, fused with pop rock, which can be heard in her hit singles such as “Como La Mañana,” “Conmigo” and most recently, “Me Voy.”
