‘Despacito’ Becomes The Most-Watched Video In YouTube’s History
It only took Despacito 203 days since its official video premiere in January 2016 to nab the title of Most-Watched YouTube video. That’s one hell of a record if you ask me.
With over 3 billion views, Luis Fonsi’s massive hit featuring Daddy Yankee surpassed previous title holders, Wiz Khalifa’s See You Again and Psy’s Gangnam Style.

According to Fonsi, this milestone is an incredible success not only for his career but also for Latin music and its culture.
In addition to becoming the most-watched video, Despacito is also the most-liked video, the first one to have reached 2.5 billion the fastest, the most-watched video in 2017 in over 40 countries, and the video that’s been viewed more than 100 million of times in over 100 countries.
