‘Queen Of The South’ Is Back! Watch A Preview Of Season 2 Here

Almost one year after the 13-episode first season of “Queen of the South” premiered, USA Network announced that season 2 is on its merry way.

The TV drama series, for those living under a rock, is an English-language version of “La Reina del Sur” starring Mexican actress Kate del Castillo.

The forthcoming action-packed season, starring Alice Braga as Teresa Mendoza, will continue right where it left off in 2016, including new events from our favorite warring married couple Camila portrayed by Veronica Falcón and Epifanio Vargas portrayed by Joaquim de Almeida.

“Queen of the South” tells the powerful story of Teresa Mendoza.

According to Latin Times: “When her drug-dealing boyfriend is unexpectedly murdered in Mexico, Teresa is forced to go on the run and seek refuge in America, where she teams with an unlikely figure from her past to bring down the leader of the very drug trafficking ring that has her on the run. In the process, she learns the tools of the trade and strategically positions herself to become the leader of the Cartel.”

Season 2 will premiere June 8 on USA Network. This means, you have enough time to binge-watch season 1 on Netflix!
