Funny thing, I recently mentioned to a friend how I’d love to check out the very popular Vive Latino, but it seems as if I don’t need to book a flight to Mexico to catch a glimpse of the best Latin rock bands known to man kind. Behold, Rock Fiesta —The Greatest Latino Rock Festival in American History.
The two-day festival, which began its promo in 2015, is just around the corner and will take place from Friday, March 18 to Saturday, March 19 at the Desert Garden Showgrounds in Quartzsite, Arizona. Rain or shine, it’s the ultimate campout experience with tickets and packages ranging from $15 to $1,350. Here are some reasons you should save up money, book a flight and make this the best spring break, ever! (But, only if you are 18 years old and over).
1) Caifaines is headlining —YAS QUEEN!
2) Cafe Tacvba is also headlining —and you know, oh! you know, how much fun that could be!
3) El Tri —and most probably Alex Lora’s iconic middle finger-shaped guitar— will be there.
4) “RASTAMANDITA!!!!!!!”
5) Kinky will take the stage on BOTH nights!
6) I can already taste the Ska-licious mosh pits with Maldita Vecindad and Panteón Rococó!
7) PXNDX invades the festival with its punk, melodic hardcore and Avanzada Regia movement.
8) Because Los Amigos Invisibles is all you need for some “Cuchi-Cuchi”!
9) The Nortec Collective vibes will have you dancing all day, all night.
