Julio Iglesias ‘Mexico’ Can Serve As Wake Up Call For Donald Trump
Julio Iglesias is celebrating his latest studio album “Mexico.” The production that includes 13 tracks honoring the Latin American country that opened its doors to the Spanish singer in the late ’60s, early ’70s, also marks Iglesias’ final production.

Iglesias, however, stated at a press conference that he’s not going anywhere following this album and hopes to continue crooning his fans until he’s 150 years old. “It is the last album I will record in a studio in my life. I will not retire until I am forced out by life or the people. I want to sing until I’m 150 years old,” he said.
While putting the finishing touches on the production, the 72-year-old singer, who sings in 12 languages, noted that: “Mexico is a country that I love dearly. The Mexican people have given me many indelible moments in my life. I know this country as if it were my homeland, and I always carry it in my soul. Mexican music is universal and its composers are legendary.”
“Mexico,” which surpasses 80 albums in Iglesias’ discography since 1968, can also serve as a wake up call to Donald Trump, the presidential candidate who made degrading comments about Mexicans during his kick-off presidential speech.
