Happy birthday Jenni Rivera! We #TBT with the ‘Diva de la Banda’

Almost three years have passed since the tragic plane crash that took her life on December 9, 2012 and Jenni Rivera fans are still mourning and missing her.  If she were alive today, the irreplaceable “Diva de la Banda” would have been 46 years old Thursday.

This year, many festivities will take place honoring the life and legacy of the Mexican-American songstress.  They include the first-annual Jenni Vive! Tribute Festival and the unveiling of Jenni Rivera Memorial Park, both taking place in her hometown, Long Beach, Calif.

Though we wish to form part of the two great events, here at PulsoPOP, we celebrate her big day with a classic #TBT, running at about one-hour long!

We take it back 10 years ago to Rivera’s October 14, 2005 sold-out show at the Dolby Theater (formerly known as the Kodak Theater) in Los Angeles —and truth be told, her empowering lyrics and her “sin pelos en la lengua” attitude will forever live in our hearts.
