Soda Stereo. Cirque Du Soleil. Enough Said.
There’s nothing more gratifying for a Soda Stereo fan than the new headlines making the rounds. Band members Zeta Bosio and Charly Alberti are teaming up with Cirque du Soleil to pay tribute to the band and its late singer Gustavo Cerati, who passed away September 4, 2014.

It’s in the works but it sounds AWESOME already. “Soda Stereo imagined by Cirque du Soleil” will be quite the experience for just about anyone.
Bosio and Alberti, who are currently in Canada working with the creators of Cirque du Soleil’s “The Beatles, Love,” want to bring to life the remarkable story of the iconic ’80s band —who are responsible for amazing hits such as “El Rito,” “La Cupula,” “Entre Canibales,” and “Musica Ligera,” amongst many more.
“We had to look into our personal memories, remember situations that were somewhat forgotten. We had to explain the aesthetics of each new album, the scenography from each live performance. They want to understand what was happening to each one of us during those moments, and what do we feel like now, as we remember them,” Alberti told “La Nación.”
The new production, produced by Cirque du Soleil, Popart and Triple, will debut in March 2017 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, with pit stops in other Latin American countries.
