‘Mi Combo’ Music Video Shows Best Of Reggaeton, Hip Hop Worlds
Carlos “Spiff TV” Suarez premieres the music video of “Mi Combo” (My Squad) in collaboration with Puerto Rican urban artist Yandel and Atlanta-based Hip Hop star Future. Directed by Spiff TV —a producer and director— the music video showcases Spiff’s vision of having an English Hip-Hop artist rhyme on an Urban Latin/Reggaton beat with the musical style of a Latin Urban artist.
“The music video’s concept is to share my blended world, which is Hip-Hop, Reggaton and Latin Hip-Hop,” shared Spiff TV. “My vision for the single, music video and my upcoming album with other artists, is to represent the combination of their sounds, beats and each artist’s swag. And, of course, their personal style to develop a new concept that supports a global movement.”
The music video demonstrates your typical urban flair featuring expensive cars, beautiful women, stylish clothing statements and lyrics expressing how their collaborative squad is creating a movement together. The single’s lyrics from both Yandel and Future convey that the force is strong with their own styles.
Born in New York City and raised in Orlando, FL, Spiff TV started his career during the Reggaton boom in early 2000. At the age of 16, Spiff TV was known for that kid taking photos of Urban Latin artists departing night clubs. Soon enough, he started working with all Urban Latin artists, and was known to be one of the first to start the “Behind-The-Scenes” music documentarist position within the Urban industry. In 2005, he released his first film, called “Reggaeton Invasion” featuring behind-the-scenes footage of all Reggaton artists such as Don Omar, Daddy Yankee and many more.
