Reykon Talks Paying Tribute To The Mexican Culture In New Music Video ‘Macarena’ [EXCLUSIVE]
Although it may seem that he’s been M.I.A, truth is, Reykon has been unstoppable!
The Colombian singer recently dropped new music but fans have been asking for his whereabouts about releasing his catchy tune “Mala.” “I’ve been working on a lot of music,” he told PulsoPOP. “We don’t stop! I continued making music after ‘Mala’ and that’s when ‘Macarena’ was born,” he said of his new track, which according to him, “esta bien buena.”

In the music video that dropped on Aug. 16, Reykon “El Lider” pays tribute to the Mexican culture, telling the story of “Macarena,” a beautiful woman he follows around during a Dia de Muertos celebration. In a nutshell–and without giving too many spoilers—the video mixes fantasy with reality, giving it a major plot twist at the end.
