Venezuela, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Cuba and Honduras reach the semifinals of “Nuestra Belleza Latina”. In the gala that defined the names of the participants that passed to the eighth gala, semifinal of the show, Venezuela had to decide on one of its two representatives: Migbelis or Andrea. The bad news was for the young woman who came to “Nuestra Belleza Latina” dancing as Jennifer Lopez.
But, the departure of Andrea – who entered the mansion after having been part of the digital competition Segundo Chance – was not free of controversy. Minutes before bidding farewell to the contest, the Venezuelan joined with the Mexican Nancy to put Migbelis back into question. Once again the participants accused Migbelis of meddling in matters that did not correspond to him and wanting to monopolize the camera.

Fortunately the evidence reached the end of the show, so throughout the program everything was honey on chips, and the gala ‘The Beauties of the Playback’ was free of drama or misunderstandings. This show had a special guest Setareh Khatibi, who triumphed in the 2016 edition of NBL in a challenge with the theme “The chick pio”. The first finalist of “Nuestra Belleza Latina” 2016 was in charge of advising the participants in their presentation.
On the other hand, the show started with a surprise for everyone: Alejandra Espinoza singing! The presenter put on the skin of Hugh Jackman and took the stage to interpret the song ‘The Greatest Show’ of the tape ‘The Greatest Showman’. Accompanied by judges, participants and a team of circus artists, the driver showed off when presenting the grand gala.
On this occasion, the challenge lip sync, one of the favorites of the audience, presented challenges in pairs: Nancy against Massiel, Yaritza against Migbelis and Ceylín against Andrea; the audience should vote for them and the one with the most votes would be entitled to a well-deserved prize: they would have access to their cell phone for a whole day.
The first to pass were Nancy playing Pink, with the song ‘Raise your glass’ and Massiel giving life to Pimpernel; Yes, he did the roles of Lucía and Joaquín Galán at the same time in the song ‘Palabras, palabras, palabras’. The winner of this confrontation was Massiel.
Before continuing with the challenge, came the catwalk, this would be the last time that the participants would be together in a parade for the last time. In the company of Leslie Grace, who sang her hit ‘Hard and Soft’ and the track ‘Monday to Thursday’, the girls wore a sexy white outfit. The second to take the stage were Yaritza and Migbelis. The first one was put in the skin of Thalía and its more recent viral success ‘Me Oyes, Me Escuchas’, faced Migbelis, who like Chiquis Rivera interpreted ‘Completely’. The winner was Yaritza.
The last ones to take the stage to show their talent were Ceylín and Andrea. The Venezuelan was characterized as Karol G and interpreted ‘Pineapple’ and the Dominican surprised the jury by presenting herself as Ozuna, she sang ‘Tell her that you love me’. Although El Dasa voted in favor of Ceylín, Judges Jomari and Giselle were not so happy with their show. However, the public was delighted with the personification of the Dominican and she got the benefit of the cell phone.
The show was about to end and it was time for two of the participants to talk about what they felt about Migbelis. Andrea and Nancy were dissatisfied with the attitude of Miss Venezuela 2013, asked for more humility and not to be considered a winner, as they had advanced in the race for the crown and were ready to give it competition. Migbelis, meanwhile, was disappointed to hear these comments.

The result of the votes had not been favorable for Andrea, who had the least number of clicks from the audience and became the beauty that should have left the competition.
The show closed with CNCO, who accompanied the five happy competitors that will meet in the semifinal of “Nuestra Belleza Latina” next Sunday. The group performed the single ‘Se Vuelve Loca’ in a Spanglish version. The public has decided, we are nowhere to meet the winner of the crown and become the next next Univision presenter.
